Amazon has passed on central Ohio for its second major headquarters.
The online retail giant instead chose two other sites, one in northern Virginia and the other in New York City for what has been touted as the single biggest economic development project in a generation.
The new pair of east coast headquarters between them will see as many as 50,000 new jobs and $5 billion of investment.
