The Columbus Landmarks group has taken initiative to educate high school students on the neighborhoods in which they live. The program is one of the many new learning and teaching strategies that schools have implemented in the modern era.
Join us today as we discuss alternative learning in schools and the tools that teachers are giving students to better learn about their community.
Guests:
- Doreen Uhas-Sauer, Columbus historian, education outreach coordinator for Columbus Landmarks
- Miles Balfour, Fort Hayes High School student
- David Cutler, history and journalism at Brimmer and May in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts
