Minority groups such as African Americans and Latinos are often overlooked by the mental health community. Lack of availability, cultural stigma of mental illness, and discriminatory practices are among the factors that affect access to proper treatment for minorities.
We'll look at how these issues impact minority communities and what can be done to improve access to treatment.
