The weeks following President-elect Donald Trump's election have been a flurry of activity as his transition team prepares him for office. Even though he campaigned harshly against President Obama's policies, Obama's administration has worked with Trump's team to ensure a smooth transition. While the transition process can be complicated, if done well it sets up the incoming president for success in office. Today we'll discuss the history of presidential transitions and how President-elect Trump's transition is playing out.
