The night sky is fascinating any time of year, but spring holds a few special surprises for stargazers. Gas giants like Jupiter and Neptune will be migrating into view, Mercury is at its prime at the beginning of April and the moon will serve as a guidepost for many constellations and planets throughout the season.

In August a full solar eclipse will be visible in the continental United States for the first time since 1979.  The path of totality, where the eclipse will be fully visible and observers will be able to see the sun completely covered by the moon, will occur across 14 different states. Join us today as we discuss the night sky and space news with astronomer Tom Burns.
