Franklin County residents who’d like to improve their mental health but aren’t sure where to start will have another year to sample one of the tools county commissioners are providing to the public to help.

Franklin County commissioners are expected to extend a contract Tuesday for $43,000 for another year with CredibleMind, the digital behavioral health platform that declares, “It’s okay to not be OK."

CredibleMind’s mental health resources are offered at no cost to county residents who’d rather work on their mental health issues themselves, using a self-paced approach.

The digital behavioral health platform offers a free assessment and aggregates articles, books, apps, podcasts and videos on hundreds of topics meant to assist people on their mental and emotional health journeys.

For more information or to sign up and to complete the assessment, visit FranklinCountyOhio.crediblemind.com.

More than 3,500 people completed the online assessment in the first year of the contract and twice that amount used the site.
