In this week's episode:
Bernie's Back
Former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner was an outspoken supporter of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' last presidential run. Now, she'll co-chair his 2020 campaign.
Some in the Democratic party believe that a woman or person of color would be best suited to defeat President Donald Trump in the next election, but Turner believes that Sanders' grassroots momentum and progressive platform make him the best choice.
John Kasich GPS
Our former governor visited Canada where he gave a speech calling on Republicans to take action to address climate change.
Snollygoster Of The Week
A federal lawsuit filed from groups like the ACLU and Ohio League of Women Voters argues the congressional map in Ohio unfairly gives Republicans a political advantage. The map is scheduled to last until 2021, but the lawsuit seeks to have it thrown out and redrawn ahead of the 2020 election.
Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose isn't defending the map, but he thinks throwing it out before 2021 would create "confusion" among Ohio voters.
