I had a chance to witness the first joint rehearsal of the Columbus Jazz Arts Group and BalletMet yesterday.  They rehearsed at BalletMet and will be at the Capitol Theatre at the Riffe Center  today as they prepare for the premiere of JAZZ MOVES COLUMBUS in partnership with WOSU.  Our team provided video excerpts for the performance and we’re producing a behind the scenes documentary on the creative process that resulted in this once every 200 years work.  What a way to kickoff the bicentennial then see the work of three prized nonprofits in our community from Feb. 2 through 12th.  Tickets are available through the CAPA Box Office or through Ticketmaster.

We’ve received some excellent local coverage about this unique collaboration. Checkout:

We live in Mt. Vernon +40 miles out of Columbus. What are our options for getting local/Columbus stations like WOSU, NBC/ABC/CBS news, etc?
