It’s becoming a bit of a tradition at our WOSU@COSI production offices to arrange potluck lunches to spice up the work week and give everyone the chance to catch-up with their co-workers. Many of our producers spend their days out in the field on shoots or hunkered down in an edit bay working on projects like Columbus Neighborhoods or Broad & High. With the temperatures dipping and winter upon us, we decided a Chili Potluck was in order.
At first, we dubbed it a Chili Cook-Off, but then we realized we just wanted to eat good chili and not bring competition into the mix. So we tasked a few staffers who are talented in the kitchen to bring in homemade chili — we had several varieties including classic beef chili, Cincinnati style, Indian chili, and turkey chili. They were all delicious!
The rest of us contributed toppings, sides, breads and buns, chips, and of course, a little something sweet by way of homemade salted chocolate chip blondies.
There’s nothing quite like gathering around a conference room table with your work family and digging into a hearty bowl of chili!
