A patient receives a Monkeypox vaccination at a Pop-Up Monkeypox vaccination site at the West Hollywood Library Community Meeting Room on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, in West Hollywood, Calif.

Columbus Public Health reports it has received a limited amount of the monkeypox vaccine and will be holding a vaccine clinic Thursday for those at highest risk.

According to the department's website, all appointments are full but they suggest checking back often to see when new doses are available.

Eligible people can register for a vaccine by calling the health department at 614-645-1519 or by emailing monkeypox@columbus.gov. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
