Columbus police now confirm a body found last week inside a van was a well-known imam at a northeast side mosque.
Police on Sunday identified the body as Mohamed Hassan Adam. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Somali community members said Adam, 48, had been missing since Wednesday. Police said the investigation is still in the early stages and haven't released any information on a possible motive.
Adam was a longtime imam at the Masjid Abu Hurairah mosque on the Northeast Side.
