Organizations are celebrating Martin Luther King Day across Columbus on Monday.

The city's annual MLK March begins at 4:45 pm this afternoon at East High School. It will feature Dr. R.A. Vernon, the founder of The Word Church in Cleveland.

The King Arts Complex is hosting an open house for children and families with art activities and musical performances from noon to 4pm.

Both Capital University and Columbus State are hosting speakers to discuss King's legacy.

There's a whole host of organizations participating in a MLK Day of service, from universities to churches to non-profits.
