Columbus police say two passengers in a car were shot Sunday when another vehicle pulled along side them on Interstate 670 and someone inside opened fire.
The shooting happened on I-670 East near Leonard Avenue around 2:30 p.m. One passenger was shot in the leg and wrist, and the other was shot in the leg. The driver was unharmed.
Both of the people shot were hospitalized and expected to recover.
Police did not report any arrests or possible motives for the shooting.
