Former Ohio State University offensive lineman Kirk Barton faces felony charges of assaulting a police officer after an altercation in Dublin last weekend.
Charges against Barton, 33, were filed Monday after his arrest outside the Bogey Bar & Grill during the Memorial golf tournament.
Police say Barton was at the bar Friday when management asked deputies to remove him because the 6-foot-6-inch man was intoxicated, stumbling and knocking people over due to his size.
The Delaware County Sheriff's office says deputies working special duty escorted Barton to a taxi van without incident, but the man couldn't provide his address.
Body camera footage shows police retrieving Barton’s license, and officers and the taxi driver trying to determine the address. The video then shows Barton suddenly slamming the van's sliding door on a deputy's arm.
It is unclear whether the deputy suffered any injuries.
Body camera footage shows another deputy using a Taser on Barton twice before he was dragged out of the vehicle and restrained.

While playing at Ohio State, Barton was an All-American and became the first player in Ohio State history to start and win four games against Michigan.
After college, Barton played stints with the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. He retired in 2010.
