A ceremony was held Thursday honoring five Ohio officers, including two from Central Ohio, who died last year in the line of duty.

Hundreds of law enforcement officers from across the state gathered in London, Ohio, to honor the lives of five of their fellow officers who died last year. Among those killed were Columbus police officer Steven Smith, 54. He was shot during a SWAT stand-off in Clintonville last April.

Hilliard police officer Sean Johnson, 46, was also killed last year. He died after he apparently lost control of his motorcycle during a training exercise and crashed on I-270 at State Route 161.

Their names and seven others will be added to the Ohio Fallen Officers' Memorial Wall.
