Cyber security experts from around the country gather in Lewis Center on Friday for a conference on how to prevent and mitigate cyber attacks.
The CyberOhio Business Summit is hosted by the Ohio Attorney General’s office and comes as the FBI looks into alleged Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election. Most attacks don’t rise nearly to that level, but can still cause big problems for people and businesses.
Issues on the agenda for the Friday summit include how to recover from a cyber attack, how businesses can stay within privacy and security laws, and "a cheapskate’s guide to cyber defense."
The conference runs through the day Friday at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center at 100 Green Meadows Drive S. It’s free to attend.
