Columbus Police say they’re investigating the stabbing and sexual assault of a Hilliard City Schools bus driver.
A police spokeswoman says they received a call around 7:15 am Friday about the assault that occurred inside of a bus in the 5300 block of Nike Drive.
Police say the suspect likely boarded the bus overnight and was waiting for the driver when she arrived for her morning route.
The woman was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Police did not immediately have a description of the suspect, who reportedly fled on foot after the attack.
