Former president Bill Clinton will return to Ohio this week, as high-level campaigning picks up in the state with early voting underway.
Republican nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to lead a Thursday evening rally in downtown Cincinnati.
His Democratic rival Hillary Clinton was at Ohio State University on Monday, while President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak Thursday evening to a state party dinner in Columbus and then lead a get-out-the-vote rally Friday in Cleveland.
The Clinton campaign said Bill Clinton will be in the Cincinnati and Columbus areas Friday, with details to be announced later.
Early voting began Wednesday for the Nov. 8 election.
Polls indicate a see-saw race in the battleground state. No Republican has ever won the White House without winning Ohio.
