Former Ohio State football player Ezekiel Elliott will not face criminal charges related to allegations of assault by an ex-girlfriend.
The Columbus City Attorney's office cites what it calls a lack of evidence in the decision to not charge the former OSU running back for an incident in July.
Elliott's then-girlfriend told police he assaulted her inside a parked car and left her bruised.
Elliott denied any wrongdoing.
Elliott was a first round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in last spring’s NFL Draft.
