Some Delta Airline flights out of the John Glenn Columbus International Airport resumed today, but many flights remain delayed and more than 400 are canceled world wide.
Delta experienced a power outage at 2:30 Monday morning that forced the airline to ground all flights. The delays forced some passengers to readjust their travels schedules to accommodate the changes.
Terrell Carter was trying to get to Louisiana through Atlanta and had both of his flights delayed. He learned about the power outage this morning.
“I was like, ‘This can’t be today,’" Carter said. "I’m like come on, I kind of want to go home, but there’s nothing you can do about it besides let them work out the kinks and then hopefully get back to their customers and let us know what’s going on and keep us updated as much as possible.”
Delta says passengers with canceled or significantly delayed flights are entitled to a refund.
