Beginning today 30 Columbus police volunteers will wear body cameras for testing purposes.
Police said officers will wear one of six different devices for 10 days in order to compare and contrast different models.
Police officials said this is just one aspect of the selection process.
Columbus Police officials will also look at storage and collection and retention issues before making a final selection by the end of the year.
