Doctor Charged With Peddling Pills, Growing Psychedelic Mushrooms

Hodge is charged with felony drug trafficking.

Police from several Central Ohio counties say a months-long investigation has led to a doctor being charged with trafficking prescription drugs.

The Hocking County Sheriff’s Office say Dr. John Hodge was arrested Tuesday at his HealthSource of Ohio clinic in Hillsboro.

Hodge is charged with felony drug trafficking charges after police say they seized illegal prescriptions, medications, and cash from the Highland County clinic.

Police say another search of Hodge’s Jackson County home yielded more illegal medications and a psychedelic mushroom growing operation.

Police say more charges are expected.
