Traffic is improving on Columbus' West Side after Interstate 670 eastbound was closed for the early part of the morning commute because of an overnight shooting.
Police closed the eastbound lanes of I-670 between Grandview Avenue and State Route 315 after officers say a woman was grazed by a bullet fired by a man inside the vehicle during an argument.
The shooting happened around 2 am. Police say the driver then pulled over, and a teenager inside the vehicle fled on foot. Police say the man may have fired shots at the teen during a foot chase before the man was clipped by a passing vehicle.
The freeway reopened just before 7 am.
