A former Michigan governor will headline a gathering of Ohio Democrats in Cincinnati.
Ohio Democratic Chairman David Pepper says two-term Gov. Jennifer Granholm will rally Democrats from across southwest Ohio at a June 10 luncheon.
Granholm has been an early and active supporter of Hillary Clinton's presidential bid.
Hamilton County has been a pivotal county in recent battles for the swing state. Barack Obama twice carried both the county and state in general elections.
Pepper says Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, Dayton's Nan Whaley and Chillicothe's Luke Feeney will participate in a roundtable discussion before the luncheon.
