Franklin County prosecutors say a man has been charged with robbing eight Columbus stores in five days.
An indictment announced Wednesday against 20-year-old Blake Hector includes multiple charges of aggravated robbery and robbery including specifications that the crimes were committed with a gun.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien says it's rare to see so many robberies in a week.
The indictment accuses the Columbus man of robbing a gas station Feb. 8, another gas station the next day, four businesses on Feb. 11 and two more gas stations on Feb. 12.
Hector's arraignment was set for Friday. He faces dozens of years in prison if convicted. The Franklin County Clerk of Courts did not list an attorney who could respond to the charges.
