Columbus Man Indicted In Triple Murders On North Side

google.com

A Franklin County grand jury has indicted a Columbus man on ten counts related to the January murders of his ex-girlfriend and two of her children.

35 year old Wendell Callahan could face the death penalty for the stabbing deaths of 32 year old Erveena Hammonds, 7 year old Breya Hammonds and 10 year old Anaesia Green.

Authorities say Callahan broke into the apartment where Hammonds lived and stabbed all three victims.

Callahan will be arraigned on Friday.

Callahan had been released from prison when federal sentencing guidelines for crack dealers changed and reduced his sentence by more than four years.
