A 44-year-old man is heading to prison in the 2013 killing of his wife in Columbus.  Guido Henry was sentenced to 19 years behind bars on Monday.

Henry entered an Alford plea to involuntary manslaughter and kidnapping in the death of 35-year-old Amber Henry. Her body was found in the basement of an abandoned house in November 2013. An autopsy determined she had been strangled.

Common Pleas Judge Kimberly Cocroft says she's almost speechless over the case and there's something "particularly depraved and sick" about it.

By entering an Alford plea, Henry maintained his innocence but conceded there was enough evidence to convict him.
