Five Foreign Nationals From Columbus Area Charged With Forgery

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials report five foreign nationals were arrested last week on the Ohio Turnpike and charged with forgery and possessing criminal tools.  The men from the Columbus area were expected in court today.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers last week stopped the car the five men were in because it made an improper lane change on the Ohio turnpike about 20 miles northwest of Youngstown.

Officials found criminal tools such as a machine that creates and duplicates credit cards. And they also found a small amount of marijuana.

Arrested are 24 year old Jibril Abdiselam; 27 year old Mohammeddeq Hassan; 26 year old Mohamed Mahamoud. 25 year old Zakaria Warsame, and Said Sheikh.

They’re each being held in the Trumbull County Jail on a $25,000 bond.  They have all surrendered their passports.
