An Ohio man who police say confessed to fatally shooting his mother and girlfriend has been indicted on two counts of aggravated murder.
The Knox County prosecutor said Monday that a grand jury also indicted 31-year-old Travis Bonham on charges of theft of a firearm, tampering with evidence and having a weapon under disability.
A call to the public defender listed as representing Bonham rang unanswered.
Investigators say Bonham admitted he shot his mother, 50-year-old Sandra Selk, and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Jaime Linn Barber, Sept. 29 while he was high on the synthetic drug known as bath salts.
He could face up to life in prison if convicted.
A Mount Vernon woman suspected of harboring Bonham while police searched for him has been indicted on a charge of obstructing justice.
