A Plain City man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for a 2013 drunken driving crash that killed one of his passengers and injured three others.
A judge in Columbus sentenced 24-year-old Jacob Bluhm on Tuesday. He was convicted last month of aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated.
Bluhm was driving a group of friends from Madison County to Columbus. He was driving a pickup truck at least 95 mph when it left the road, hit and ditch and rolled over in a corn field.
Bluhm and the four passengers were ejected. Twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Toops died at the scene.
Bluhm's blood-alcohol tested at 0.168 percent, double the legal limit in Ohio.
