A new independent poll says Ohio voters overwhelming support requiring owners of coal-fired power plants to reduce pollution, while a smaller majority oppose the Iran nuclear deal.
The survey by Quinnipiac University says Ohio voters lean toward coal plant regulation by a 67 to 27 percent margin, which 43 percent of voters think efforts to limit coal-based pollution will be "too expensive."
The poll also says a slight majority of Ohio voters oppose cutting federal funding for Planned Parenthood, most oppose the nuclear deal with Iran, and a majority think undocumented immigrants should be allowed to stay in the U.S. and given a path to citizenship.
