Columbus police have charged 2 people with criminal trespassing in an incident Tuesday morning where a man died inside of an old power plant building downtown.

Sgt. Rich Weiner says 20 year old Frank Faught was killed inside the building at 589 West Nationwide Boulevard when he either fell or was electrocuted.

Two people with Faught, one his sister 17 year old Abigail Faught, the other 19 year old Justin Rayburn were not hurt.  They both faces charges of criminal trespassing.  Weiner says the group somehow got into the former city power plant building.

"After speaking to investigators, they said that they went into the facility and were looking around, climbing along equipment when the accident happened," said Weiner.

Weiner says an autopsy will be conducted to find the cause of the victim’s death.

Municipal Light Plant LLC took ownership of the old power plant building last December.
