June was a record-setting month for Central Ohio housing prices.
New figures from the group Columbus Realtors say the average home sale price in June was $206,061, the highest price of any month on record.
The group says the total inventory of homes for sale in Central Ohio in June was 7,662, a 2.5 percent increase over last June and the largest inventory of any month in 2015.
The Central Ohio housing inventory is still below 2000 levels.
In a statement, Columbus Realtors President Kathy Shiflet says “With the lack of inventory, today’s buyers are highly motivated to act quickly on homes that are put on the market.”
