The two men were reportedly swept underwater at a dam on the Olentangy, just north of the OSU campus.

Authorities have yet to find two swimmers who were reportedly swept toward a dam on the Olentangy River and are believed to have drowned over the weekend.

Rescuers were first called on Saturday evening to the site along the Olentangy River in Columbus, not far from the campus of Ohio State University. The Columbus Dispatch reports the missing men are stepbrothers who are 19 and 21 years old.

The search was called off at one point because witnesses said they saw people getting out of the water downstream, but investigators determined those individuals weren't the missing men.

Columbus police dive teams were resuming the search Monday.
