Ohio meteorologists confirm the past thirty days have been Ohio's wettest since 1878.
Rain, during the last two weeks of June and the first two weeks of July has totaled nearly 10 inches.
Kristin Cassady is a meterologist at the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
It's been very wet across the entire region over the past thirty days. Also, it's been abnormally cool as well. Just since we've had a lot of rain in the area and a lot of cloud cover, it has kept temperatures down as well, " she explained.
Cassady says warmer, drier air should move into Ohio during the next week or so.
