GOP Leaders Increase Calls For Dewine's Resignation

GOP leaders around the state are stepping up efforts to get the chair of the Ohio Republican Party Party chairs in seven of the state's largest counties yesterday sent a letter to state GOP chair Kevin DeWine, saying the rift between him and elected Republicans has become irreconcilable. The ouster effort has been led by Governor John Kasich. Many of DeWine's critics say Kasich should lead the state party.
