Former Ohio State and NFL quarterback Art Schlichter could be facing additional time behind bars as he prepares to plead guilty to federal fraud charges. A judge in Indiana says Schlichter must serve an additional three years for violating his probation from a former conviction in that state. Attorneys were trying to work out a deal to satisfy the order of Marion Superior Court Judge Grant Hawkins. The development postponed a hearing scheduled Monday in Columbus on whether Schlichter can be placed on house arrest before sentencing. The 51-year-old has said he'll plead guilty to federal charges of bank and wire fraud and filing a false tax return linked to a million-dollar sports ticket scheme. He's already facing a 10-year state prison sentence on related charges.
