Former OSU Player Maurice Clarett Released from Prison Early

A Franklin County Common Pleas Judge today freed former Ohio State football star Maurice Clarett. He had served 3 1/2 years of a 7 year sentence for aggravated robbery and carrying a concealed weapon.

Clarett led the Buckeyes to the national championship in 2002. He will spend four to six months in a community based facility and will be on probation for five years.
