Ohioans have seen the medical advice on billboards and television ads :"If you're over 50, get a colonoscopy to check for cancer."
But not all insurance companies pay for the procedure which can cost up to $2,000. That's why dozens of American Cancer Society volunteers from across Ohio descended on the statehouse Tuesday to urge legislators to pass a new law to requiring insurers to cover screenings for colon cancer.
