When it was announced the Cleveland Indians made it to the World Series, there was an enthusiastic response of symphonic proportions.  The Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra, led by Theodore Kuchar, gave a musical expression to where everyone wants to be next Tuesday when the series begins--out at "the old ball game."

Theodore Kuchar will be conducting a concert a little closer to Columbus with the Mansfield Symphony on October 29 at the Renaissance Theatre.  It will feature music of Argentinean composer Alberto Ginastera and Antonin Dvorak's New World Symphony.

If you don't make it the the World Series, you can enjoy the New World Symphony, one of the best-loved works in the symphonic repertoire, instead.
