Rossen Milanov discusses the Russian Winter Festival with Boyce Lancaster

Rossen Milanov conducts Shostakovich, Mussorgsky, Rachmaninoff, and more this week with the Columbus Symphony

Columbus Symphony Orchestra Music Director RossenMilanov joined Boyce Lancaster earlier this week to discuss a huge musical and educational week they're calling Russian Winter Festival. It kicked off Tuesday at the Urban Arts Space at 50 W. Gay downtown with Subject Matters, a series in conjunction with Ohio State.

There are still more musical, artistic, and educational opportunities available with the CSO this week.

The festival culminates with a performance of Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto featuring Russian-born pianist Natasha Paremski on Saturday.
