COLUMBUS, OHIO, MARCH 31, 2020 – 89.7 NPR News, the all-day NPR news radio station of WOSU Public Media, was recognized as among the best in Ohio journalism in 2019 by the Ohio AP Media Editors Association. WOSU captured a total of 12 awards, including 8 first place nods.
- 89.7 NPR News was once again named Ohio’s Best Radio News Operation
- Clare Roth was named Ohio’s Best Radio Anchor
- Paige Pfleger was named Ohio’s Best Reporter and also received the AP’s Broadcast “Rising Star” award that recognizes achievement and ability in early-career journalists
- 89.7 NPR News and wosu.org won Best Digital Presence
