Chase Bank is central Ohio's largest private employer.

JPMorganChase has ordered most of its 18,000 plus central Ohio employees to return to the office full time, five days a week starting in March.

JPMorganChase sent a letter to its employees Friday morning explaining that the company will require all of its employees to return to the office full time, instead of allowing some to work hybrid from home some of the week. Central Ohio's largest private employer says more than half of its global 300,000 plus person workforce was already working full time at the office.

The company will figure out which locations globally will be required to return to the office full time by the end of January.

The company says that since the COVID-19 pandemic has been over for a few years, it is the right time to have a full-time in-office approach.

Chase says in-person work fosters "mentoring, learning, brainstorming and getting things done" and is particularly beneficial to younger workers.
