The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) issued an air quality Monday for parts of central Ohio.
Affected areas include Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, and Licking counties.
Those areas are likely to experience ground-level ozone pollution levels that may be unsafe for some people.
Active children, senior citizens and people with asthma and COPD are more likely to suffer an increase in the number and severity of symptoms during an air quality alert day.
To reduce the potential for health issues, people with health concerns are encouraged to limit their outdoor activity.
