They’re not staying home, but the Ohio State women’s basketball team has an easier roadtrip than their male counterparts.
The women’s team learned Monday night they’ll be a five seed in the Greensboro, North Carolina regional and will play the 12th seed James Madison Thursday.
It’s the women’s team first NCAA tournament appearance since 2012. None of the players on the current roster have played in the tournament.
The men’s team earned a number 10 seed in the West region and will play Virginia Commonwealth Thursday in Portland, Oregon.
