Honor Flight Banner
On a 98 degree day in early August, 2007, a WOSU camera crew  - producer Mary Rathke, videographer Jason Perkins, and audio technician Phillip Park - shadowed 32 WWII veterans as they traveled to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII memorial. With help from Honor Flight, these seniors were given an all-expense paid trip of a lifetime.

This 30-minute TV special shows highlights of this trip, when veterans shared their stories and thoughts on this exciting and emotional journey. Also included are interviews with: Bob Dole, U.S. Senator; Susan Barr, Public Affairs/Media Director-Honor Flight; and many veterans and volunteers
