Rick Lopez of perennial top 10 La Tavola, will soon open Lupo on Arlington Avenue.
Lupo will feature Mediterranean tapas, including Spanish and Portuguese, including an oyster bar, lots of seafood, and a great wine list. Todd Elder, formerly at Barcelona, will be the chef.
The Keep, a French brasserie in the Leveque downtown, is now open for dinner, and will soon be open for breakfast and lunch as well. Rich Terapak has a review.
South Village Grille, in the former Easy Street location on Thurman is open for lunch, dinner, and bunch on Saturday and Sunday. Good reports. Rich Terapak will have a review soon.
Middle West Spirits (OYO) opened Service Bar Restaurant this Fall; Avishar Barua from Veritas will be the chef. See my review.
Trillium Kitchen & Patio, by Chef Bradley Balch, formerly of The Sycamore, is open in the former Alana’s location at 2333 N. High St. Alana’s sold and closed in March.
Anthony Shultz, former chef at the Inn at Cedar Falls, is the new chef at Flowers & Bread.
Cap City Diner in Dublin opened July 11.
Fado Irish Pub will join Cameron Mitchell’s The Avenue in Dublin’s Bridge Park development next year.
Trism, a health food restaurant, bar, and event space is open in the former Eddie George Grille location on High Street.
The Angry Baker is opening at North High in the Short North.

Google bought Zagat and dropped Ohio from America’s Top Restaurants several years ago. Now, Columbus is back.
