Fall Radio Fund Drive a Success
WOSU is pleased to announce the first radio drive of the fiscal year, the WOSU Fall Fund Drive, ended late Friday with 1,875 pledges for $219,861 — topping our $200,000 goal!
Nearly 45% of the pledges came in the through the web. Most of the contributors were from central and southern Ohio, but WOSU received pledges with out-of-state addresses from California, Kentucky, Florida, Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania. Some folks listen online and others called to contribute while passing through town, including a truck driver from Kentucky. Thanks to everyone who called or went online at www.wosu.org to support our news programming and classical music service.
WOSU is very appreciative of the support!
