You might think you know something about John Glenn, but this one hour documentary reveals the full extent of his awe inspiring life.  His courage, his commitment to his country, his ideals and humanity are all here.  It’s a touching piece spanning Glenn’s life from WWII to today.  Spend an hour with a man who remains one of our national heroes – watch John Glenn – A Life of Service – this Wednesday night (July 17th) at 9 pm on WOSU TV. 

This production from WOSU was ramrodded by Ben Bays with assistance from Shawn Likley with special funding from the Ohio State Department of Athletics (Thanks, Gene Smith!).

WOSU will have a live producer chat, with Ben and Jeffrey Thomas, archivist for the John Glenn Archives at OSU) the next night, Thursday, July 18 at 8 pm.  Participants can go to wosu.org/glennchat to register in advance. So, watch the documentary on Wednesday and chat with the producer and a key participant in the program on Thursday night!

WOSU will be offering this documentary to PBS stations across the country very soon. It replays on WOSU TV on the evening of Sunday, July 28 at 8 pm.
