Central Ohio crazy for PBS Kids!
As you may know, WOSU TV carries 12 hours of PBS Kids programming Monday through Friday. What you and I didn’t know until now is how much traffic to the web version of PBS Kids is generated in central Ohio.
PBS reports that in 2012 they tracked over 2.5 million visits to pbskids.org from the Columbus metro area for the games, videos and activities. PBS Kids has a video app and they also report 8.6 million videos views in central Ohio last year. Wow!
Many of this audience learned about the PBS Kids website and apps through our commitment to air Arthur, Curious George, Sesame Street, Side the Science Kid, WordGirl and all the other incredible noncommercial, educational kids programs provided by PBS. There is no better place for your child to be watching TV than on WOSU TV!
